The publication “How open is Novi Sad to diversity?” was published, which is part of the Diversity Hub project of the Association Kulturanova, supported by the Goethe Institute through the International Relief Fund 2021.
During the research, nine interviews were conducted with representatives of various organizations and individuals who deal with vulnerable social groups or work on the promotion of human rights, tolerance and inclusion. The goal was to determine how much Novi Sad and Vojvodina are open to accepting diversity (ethnic, religious, sexual, age…), as well as how much space in this region these social groups have for self-expression.
In addition to the review in this research, the interviews were also published in the form of audio podcasts on the MixCloud platform, thus presenting to the general public the work of individuals and organizations that were their interlocutors.

The Diversity Hub project is designed as a gathering place for local differences, people of different genders, ages and sexual orientations, with or without disabilities, and with different approaches to life. The aim of the project is to enable representatives of civil society, politics, administration, business and the arts to meet and discuss differences.
In addition to activities to strengthen the capacity of organizations dealing with vulnerable social groups, the project also contributed in technical terms by equipping a podcast room in the OPENS Youth Center in Novi Sad, which will provide capacity for representatives of these organizations for public discussion on relevant topics.
