TAKT Fest has been held for 14 years! This year, through music, we speak about rebellion, solidarity, and the struggle for social change. As always, the centerpiece is the singer-songwriter competition, while the festival also brings outstanding guest performers and other programs. For the sixth year in a row, we also have TAKT FILM Fest, with films arriving from five continents.
This year, 85 submissions were received for the film competition, of which 35 were selected. Applications came from 26 countries across five continents (Australia, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America). The final selection features films from 16 countries across three continents (Australia, Europe, and North America). The countries included in the selection are: Australia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, UK, and USA.

This year, TAKT Fest has no donors, but it does have a community that, for almost 15 years, has refused to let the importance of alternative, independent, and authentic creativity be forgotten. See you at TAKT!
