Tradicionalno Akustično Kompozitorsko Takmičenje – TaktFest
(The Traditional Acoustic Composition Contest) will be hosted for the seventh time from August 25-26 in Novi Sad. The Festival aims to promote original acoustic music written and performed by young musicians and bands. Applications for the festival are now open. The festival welcomes solo artists and music bands, songwriters regardless of their regional background and music genre, in accordance with the code of conduct and rules of the festival. Preference will be given to applicants (solo artists) or songwriters (in case of a band performance) under 35 years of age.
The applicants may enter only one original song. The entering song cannot be part of any officially released music or be in the process of releasing before the end of the Festival. The applicants are expected to perform songs by using acoustic sets, without the use of added effects that change the tone color of instruments. The festival will award the winners with great prizes, such as music equipment and the participation in festivals in the country and the region. All the finalists will receive an edited video of one of the songs they performed at the festival.
