Creative workshops for creative youngsters have begun!
MuzikaNova workshops are dedicated to young musicians in the making. At the workshops, they will have the opportunity to develop their skills and improve their knowledge of music with the help of mentors and coordinators by working in teams. This means that for several months, these young people will be introduced to theoretical and practical work by attending different workshops. They will gain insights into music theory, music improvisation, music production, public performance, new perspectives for musicians, and similar topics. The project MuzikaNova Lab has gathered a diverse group of young people, among them amateurs, professionals, singers, photographers, guitar players, drummers, music producers, and volunteers, who will improve, gain, share, and apply their knowledge of music.
TeatarNova workshops aim to help amateurs interested in pursuing acting to do so as creatively and open-mindedly as possible. The participants will choose topics through discussions and play, and by getting to know each other as well as themselves. Each week, the participants will learn techniques, develop new skills, and practice acting skills by working with youth workers and actors. The focus of the workshop is to produce participants' individual performances, as well as to build them as a group. Some TeatarNova Project participants will be engaged in the MuzikaNova Project, while some MuzikaNova Project participants will join the TeatarNova Project.
TeatarNova workshops will run until April and will take place each week, while MuzikaNova workshops will run until December and will be held twice a week. These projects are supported by OPENS (European Youth Capital Association).
