Association Kulturanova from Novi Sad and Multimedia Center from Prishtina were interviewing Serbs and Albanians from Kosovo, during the summer of 2010 by exploring their memories, views of life and thoughts about the future. That was an opportunity to gather and show photographs of a specific atmosphere in Kosovo. The exhibitions, which were presented in Novi Sad and Pristina, had a goal to present an exchange of life stories by anonymously interviewed people, by which will be better understanding among Kosovo people. The screenplay is based on collected interviews, which are adjusted by Milena Bogavac and Jeton Neziraj. This bilingual play, directed by Dino Mustafic will try to show the relationships between Albanians and Serbs, their similarities and differences.
Dino Mustafic: "I have approached this project very emotionally, with a great amount of responsibility and empathy, because I am aware of how painful and significant this topic is. It consists of facing past, delusions, stereotypes, various kinds of discrimination, chauvinism and nationalism, with manipulation of emotions and patriotism, which in the ‘90s was sanctionary for scumbags. I am aware of how important topic is this for the future, and how many topics will be opened by this play…do we have a future dimension, do we have the right to be buried by the past or the future offers us a gateway."
