"Magic of the moment - Clown in improvisation" is a workshop about taking risks for mistakes and naivety. We do a lot of games, exercises and improvisations to get into the mood of a clown. The challenge is to be a clown, not to play a clown. It is about the fiasco and dignified failure, about dynamics in improvisation.
This course is useful for everybody who wants to explore the stage as a naive being far away from acting. The course language is basic English, and the price is 10 EUR per day, 30 EUR in total. The workshop leader is Andreas Schantz. He plays since 1992 as an actor and Director of the Theater "Octopus". Andreas is well-known for courses for improvisation and clowning on an international level, and also he is a coach for clowns in a hospital in Munich, and he makes journeys to refugee camps and children in trouble to different countries with the “Clowns Ohne Grenzen” this means “Clowns without borders”.
