Association Kulturanova with partners of the European project UNMASC! started a campaign that aims to stimulate conversation through various questions about personal feelings related to love, sex, gender determinants, gender stereotypes, equality. With this campaign, we seek to gain insight into what we can do through art to encourage people to confidently talk about these topics and contribute to creating a more inclusive, more free and more beautiful society.
We invite all those who are interested in the topics of gender equality, inclusion, justice, those who think about dignity and equality regardless of whether they are women, men, straight, gay, bi or trans. Your opinion and experience is important to us!

“UNMASC! - Promoting gender justice with socially engaged theatre” is a two-year international artistic research and theatre project in Kosovo, Serbia, and Austria that aims to promote gender justice by making structural violence visible and creating counter-narratives to misogynist and patriarchal values, norms, and role expectations. The project has three main objectives:
- Transnational artistic research
- Promoting gender justice with socially engaged theatre
- Providing capacity building and learning opportunities in the field of socially engaged art
Co-funded by Creative Europe, UNMASC! brought together three organisations that are all active in the field of socially engaged art. The partner consortium of the project consists of: Association Kulturanova (Novi Sad, Serbia), Kulturhaus Brotfabrik (Vienna, Austria) and Artpolis (Priština, Kosovo).
