Our new international collaborative project Play! MOBILE focuses on developing cultural participation in microregions in Europe.
With this project, we would like to contribute to developing artistic practices in the community, provide specific artistic insights, build art installations, and create a participatory play.
Play! MOBILE is a platform enabling the interaction between artists and the general public, which offers a sophisticated and inclusive way of building capacities and new audiences.
By transforming popular public places into contemporary art playgrounds, we aim to create alternative ways of appreciating culture. The methodology of presenting contemporary art pieces is demonstrated through the necessity of possessing adequate infrastructure.
We believe that art should be available to everyone, regardless of their sex, economic standing, age, or location. Contemporary art should be available to everyone, not only to the elites in big centers, but the play should be mobile. We wish to provide a solution by making contemporary art available to everyone. We also aim at building an art structure that will present contemporary art pieces, by using a given space and the potential of desirable destinations.
The project is a collaborative work of Kulturanova with Di Mini Teatro from France, Pro Progresione from Hungary, and MAGMA from Romania.
The project is supported by the Creative Europe Program.
