As part of the international project YO.US.T.A.R, together with partners in the past two years, we worked on the application of the YO.US.T.A.R methodology in working with young people, which resulted in the creation of an online manual.
The handbook aims to share good and innovative practices among theater and arts organizations and promote the empowerment of young people. The goal is to maximize the impact of the project in everyday practice for theaters that are actively engaged in youth empowerment. This was achieved by collecting recommendations and a comparative analysis of the experiences of all partners in using the YO.US.T.A.R methodology and other experiences in the work of theaters with vulnerable target groups of young people.
The target group of this manual is theater and cultural bodies, social service providers, facilitators in the field of youth work, youth workers and trainers. Through the comparison of work methods, it is possible to understand the effectiveness of different techniques in working with specific target groups such as young people with fewer opportunities, taking into account the specific needs of different sub-target groups such as young migrants, young people with disabilities, early school leavers, etc.
