Visitors of the fifth edition of Takt Festival, which will this year take place on September 17-18 in Šećer & Soul cafe, will have a unique opportunity to enjoy an exclusive acoustic performance of Branimir Rosić. The performance will mark a decade of this brilliant musician’s creative work.
The concert is scheduled for Saturday, September 17, at 11 p.m., and will feature Branimir Rosić’s songs in a stripped-down arrangement with a special emphasis on all their beauty and simplicity. Thus, the songs give new insight into what they’re addressing. In addition to the songs from "Život je Tombola" and "Tako moje oči vide" albums, you will have the opportunity to hear new songs, unique to this incarnation of the artist.
An acoustic guitar, voice, harmonica, drum, and bass – all the beauties of acoustic performance, will be included in this well-known artist’s concert.
A composer, songwriter, guitarist, and singer, Branimir Rosić has committed himself to a career in music as a songwriter and frontman of the band Branimir i neprijatelji, after a decade of club performances in the region. The first album, "Tako moje oči vide", released in 2009/2010, includes the single "Samo ljubav me čini srećnim", which won the Hello competition, with an accompanying video. He is widely known for his collaboration with Manu Chao, and two concerts, in Novi Sad (Hala Spens) and Belgrade (Hala Sportova) in 2012/2013.
The collaboration resulted in the release of the album and single "Život je Tombola", recorded in Sarajevo in collaboration with a well-known music producer Đani Pervan (known for his work with the band Letu Štuke and Darko Rundek). In his career, Rosić has had numerous successful performances at Exit, Beer Fest, Arsenal Festival, the Street Musicians Festival, but his club performances in Zagreb, Sarajevo, Mostar, Novi Sad, Osijek, Tuzla, and Kragujevac should not be forgotten either. Branimir Rosić will celebrate a decade of his music career exclusively at TAKT Festival.
